What are people saying about our CSA?                                                                                             “I was involved with this CSA for the 2011 year and LOVED IT! Take a look and see if maybe you would like it too. She does some wonderful classes on herbal stuff as well. If you have ever wanted to know more about herbs this is a great way to do it. And if you like honey, you will experience honey like you have never though possible!”  -Joy  Columbus, Ohio

“I’ve really enjoyed the surprises each month.  Having a basketful of herbal teas to choose from has been very enjoyable and I’m down to just the yerba now.  Thank you for the opportunity to expand my health awareness.” -Corinne    Worthington, Ohio

Medicinal Herbs CSA 2011

This month’s CSA is all about your preparation for cold and flu season.  The newsletter will focus on those herbs that you would be smart to keep in your herbal pantry for winter’s illnesses.  We’ll be profiling sinus infections this month as our common ailment and there will be a section on how to make your own syrups.  We have lots of new things to share with you in our Letter From The Farm, and some really great new recipes to keep you warm and toasty.  Be sure to bring your Mockingbird Meadows CSA Market Bags so that you can carry everything home and let us know if you have any holiday gift packages you would like us to put together for you!  **Coming Soon- we’ll have a members only area where you can access your newsletter and each of your herb study cards in paperless format!!

In your December share you will find the following:

1. Stuffy Honey- brand new!  Formulated to use when you’re congested and/or coughing. This is great when added to a hot tottie and we’ll be sure to give you a good recipe!!
